Joe Rogan -- Marc Andreessen interview
Joe Rogan Experience #2234 — Marc Andreessen
Marc Andreessen is the co-author of Mosaic, the first widely used web browser with a graphical user interface; co-founder of Netscape; and co-founder and general partner of the Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. He has been an early investor and board member of Facebook. Early investments have also included Instagram, Pinterest, Airbnb, Coinbase, Lyft, GitHub and Twitter.
His interview with Joe Rogan is 3 hours long but it gives a fascinating perspective from someone with a deep experience in the internet, Silicon Valley, Bitcoin and Artificial Intelligence. I recommend the whole interview but the following are some of the important points:
“The government outsources to NGOs the things it is not allowed to do.”
Media influence on elections and NGOs – (5:55 to 12:20)
“Debanking is when you as a person or your company is literally kicked out of the financial system.”
Independent federal Agencies and debanking – (1:32:30 to 1:47:45)
Regulatory capture – banking, social media, bitcoin and AI - (2:28 to 2:38)

Bari Weiss from The Free Press also interviewed Marc Andreessen
“The government is not allowed to fund private organizations and then direct them to do things that it itself is not Constitutionally allowed to do.”
